WOWWW it’s been forever since i’ve posted. I am truly terrible at this whole “blogging consistency” i’ve been tryin out lol. Anywho, back to the post, ya’ll remember that Neyo song right?! “miss independent that’s why I love herrrr!” *Neyo voice* sure the tune is ridiculously catchy and the dude has some hooky yet subtle pipes, but do what exactly is an independent woman? I honestly can say that there’s not a complete answer to that… It appears though that the constant view of an independent woman is a lady with class, elegence, sophistication, and displays a low-key form of arrogance.. oops. This woman is brave, strong, fearless, but also doesn’t any assistance from anyone and God forbid a man lends her a helping hand, and this woman basically shows no emotion, just persistance and discretion in her day to day routine. Okay, but i’m gonna have to say you’re wrong culture.. Here’s my interpretation of an independent woman.
This woman DOES carry herself with pride, class, and a fearless demeanor. This woman displays confidence, BUT she displays it based on her best attributes i.e intelligence, beauty, kindness etc etc.. but do remember we live in a culture where 98% of girls are insecure and aren’t fully comfortable in their own skin.. (WOW.. Ladies you are beautiful, it’s sad that our world tries to tell you otherwise) and to me personally I believe a girl is beautiful when shes aware of her insecurities, yet she tightly holds on to them like a blanket during a horror film. This woman is very aware of her emotions and isn’t affraid to cry, or to get pissed off because she’s stressed about a tough exam. Ladies, God made you in his image, and with every emotion that he felt. If Christ felt those emotions it’s okay for you too as well. I promise I won’t get annoyed if you need to cry during the notebook, be YOU =) and lastly an independent woman lifts others up as well. Too many times ive seen girls talk incredible bad about another one, but as soon as that girl shows up.. heeeyyyy pretty girlll! I love youuuuu give me a hugggg!.. uhhh what’s wrong with you? That’s one of the many things I’ll never understand about ya’ll haha as you know too well that are many insecure girls that just wanna feel accepted, beautiful, and wanted. Fortifying words from an independent woman can do just that.
